Third Party Advertisers - Election

Election Third Party Advertisers (ETPAs) can only advertise during provincial elections and by-elections. Registered ETPAs are subject to weekly reporting of contributions received during election advertising periods, and filing election advertising financial returns within six months after Election Day.

For the 2025 Provincial By-elections in Edmonton-Ellerslie, Edmonton-Strathcona, and Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills, the election advertising period runs from May 26, 2025, to June 23, 2025. Weekly contribution reports are due each Thursday and published each Friday. The last due date for the weekly reports is June 26, 2025, and the last publication date is June 27, 2025.

The election advertising returns are due by December 23, 2025, and will be published following the deadline.
